Mathura Vrindavan Tour Package (2 Nights/3 Days)

Vrindavan is one of the most sacred destinations in Hindu tradition, where devotion and faith continue to shape everyday life. The nearby city of Mathura is revered as the birthplace of Lord Krishna. The famous Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple stands at the site believed to mark His birth, drawing devotees from across the country.

Vrindavan is an important part of the Krishna pilgrimage circuit, which includes Barsana, Gokul, Govardhan, Kurukshetra, Dwarka, and Puri. Together, these places form a sacred journey deeply connected with the life and teachings of Lord Krishna.

In the Braj region, the common greeting “Radhe Radhe” reflects love and devotion for Radha, while “Hare Krishna” expresses reverence for Lord Krishna. Devotees believe that Lord Krishna still visits Vrindavan each night to be with Radha, keeping the divine presence of the town alive and eternal.

Important Note:

  • In Vrindavan, vehicle movement is restricted in many areas due to heavy traffic. Travel within the town is usually by e-rickshaw or on foot
  • In Govardhan, the parikrama is traditionally done on foot. E rickshaws are also available for those who are unable to complete the 21 km route due to health or personal reasons
  • E rickshaw and guide charges are not included and need to be paid directly by the client
  • Early check-in at the hotel is subject to availability

Tour Plan

Day 01 Pick up & Varindavan sightseeing
  • Pickup and drive to Vrindavan
  • Arrive in Vrindavan, a sacred town known for its numerous temples dedicated to Lord Krishna
  • Begin the day with darshan at Banke Bihari Temple, followed by visits to Radha Vallabh Temple, Vaishno Devi Temple, Vrindavan, and other temples if time permits
  • Visit the sacred Nidhivan
  • Explore other prominent temples such as Radha Raman Temple and ISKCON Temple Vrindavan
  • In the evening, enjoy the light and sound show at Prem Mandir
  • Return to the hotel and stay overnight
Day 02 Mathura & Gokul Sightseeing
  • In Mathura, visit Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, the sacred birthplace of Lord Krishna, and Dwarkadhish Temple Mathura, one of the city’s most important temples
  • Proceed to Gokul, located about 15 km from Mathura
  • Explore places associated with Lord Krishna’s childhood, including Gokulnath Temple, Raja Thakur Temple, and Brahmand Ghat
  • Visit Raman Reti, Chintaharan Mahadev Temple, and 84 Khamba Temple
  • Experience the Yamuna aarti at the ghat
  • Return to the hotel and stay overnight
Day 03 Barsana, Nandgaon Govardhan & Drop
  • Proceed to Barsana, the birthplace of Radha Rani and a sacred destination for devotees
  • Visit Radha Rani Temple Barsana and experience the deep devotion and vibrant atmosphere
  • Continue to Nandgaon, where Lord Krishna spent his early childhood
  • Visit Nand Bhavan Temple and enjoy the peaceful spiritual ambiance
  • Explore nearby sacred sites such as Yashoda Kund and Sunheri Kothi
  • Proceed to Govardhan, a sacred hill associated with Lord Krishna’s divine pastimes
  • Visit Govardhan Hill and perform the auspicious parikrama
  • Explore temples around Govardhan, including Mansi Ganga, Haridev Temple, and Daan Ghati Temple
  • Drive back to Mathura for drop-off
